This course will be held in Utrecht at the Department of Radiotherapy within the University Medical Center UtrechtThe course includes lectures, Q&A sessions, clinical implementation sessions and hands-on workshops. There will also be demonstrations of workflows on the MRI simulators and MR-Linacs.

Description
In radiotherapy the use of MRI is increasing and MRI guided treatments are emerging. Due to this trend in radiation oncology it has become necessary to learn about implementation, interpretation and workflow of MRI in radiotherapy for simulation and MRI guided treatments on MR-Linac.
This course is intended for radiation oncologists, radiologists, residents, medical physicist, and radiation therapists/technologists who want to learn about the application of MRI, specifically for radiotherapy.

Examination
Examination is not obligatory, only in case of:
- Students who want to obtain 3.5 European credits (ECTS; European Credit Transfer System); they have to do a short assignment
- PhD candidates who want to obtain 3.5 credits for the Graduate programme ImagO; they have to do a short assignment. Without the assignment, but with active participation you obtain 1.5 credits
